David Lee Howe, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on September 15, 2025, at the age of 74.
David was born on November 16, 1950, to James Harrison Howe and Eva Rovella Howe. On October 18, 1969, he married Dorothy Howe, and together they welcomed twins: their son, Travis Lynn Howe, born May 12, 1972, and their daughter, Angela Rose Howe, who was not carried to full term.
David was a devoted father and grandfather. He cherished his son, Travis, and his daughter-in-law, Crystal Howe, who also shared a deep love and respect for him. He was especially proud of his three grandsons: Zachary Howe of Stillwater, OK, Coleman Howe of Stillwater, OK, and Trevor Howe of Stillwater, OK. He was preceded in death by his great-grandson, Denver Ryan Howe.
David is survived by his five sisters: Edith Hoke of Missouri, Eva “Sissy” Howe of Arkansas, Lillian Breshears of Arkansas, Lila Snider of Missouri, and Diane Perez of Missouri. He was preceded in death by his brothers James Howe and Earl Howe, and his sisters Mary Cook and Judy Stockdall.
David will be remembered for his kind heart, steady spirit, and loyalty to family. His legacy of love, strength, and faith will live on through his son, daughter-in-law, grandsons, and extended family.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Abundant Life United Pentecostal Church, 410 S. Berry St., Stillwater, OK 74074. There will be no graveside service.
