James Lorenzo Frazier

James Lorenzo Frazier, 63, of Stillwater, died Saturday, December 22, 2007 in Stillwater, OK. Services will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 29th, 2007 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Pastor Imogene A. Murray and Rev. Calvin Miller officiating. Services are under the direction of Palmer-Marler-Carberry Funeral Home.
James was born in Langston, OK to Ernest and Carmilla (Beck) Frazier on May 26, 1944, but was raised by his grandparents Emery and Roberta Bowen. He grew up and attended school in Langston and graduated from Stillwater High School in 1956. He was in the United States Army returning home and working at a furniture store in Guthrie, OK. He married Jean M. Cunningham and to this union 6 children was born. Later after his divorce, he moved to California where he met and married Margie Henry to this union 5 children was born. In 1999 when his mother passed away he turned to Stillwater to make this his home and he resided at Westhaven Nursing Home until his death.

4 Daughters: Lashell and Vincent Simmons of OKC, OK Jeanette Swan of OKC, OK Paulette and Anthony Williams of OKC, OK Lashonn Bowen of Compton, California
9 Brothers: Ernest Frazier, Kenneth Frazier, Robert Frazier, Ronald Frazier, Eric Frazier, Dale Frazier, Hosie Frazier, Donald Bowen and Steve Murray
4 Sisters: Helen English of Stillwater, OK Doris R, Johnson of Stillwater, OK Anita Murray of Edmond, OK Velda Murray of Shawnee, OK
22 Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son; James Frazier and grandparents.
