Memorial services for Jo Ann Dancer, age 67, of Perry, Oklahoma are scheduled for 10:00 am Monday, January 22, 2007 at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Linda Sodowsky officiating. Services are under the direction of Perry Funeral Home. Mrs. Dancer was born on February 20, 1939 to John and Ethel (Lau) Crews in Lucien, OK and passed from this life on January 18, 2007 in Stillwater, OK. She grew up and attended school in Perry, OK and in August of 1988 she married Tommy Dancer in Perry, OK. She was a member of the New Beginnings Church and her hobbies included, going to garage sales, cooking, gardening, and taking care of her grandkids. She is survived by: Husband: Tommy of the home. 3 Sons: Hank Nida of Perry, OK William Nida and wife Chastity of Perry, OK Ralph Nida and wife Kathy of Perry, OK 3 Daughters: Cheryl Jeter of Perry, OK Shirley Battles and husband Mark of Blackwell, OK Ethel England and husband Stan of Montrose, CO 1 Brother: John Crews and wife Sue of Perry, OK 2 Sisters: Shirley Ford of Broken Arrow, OK Charlotte Morgan of Stillwater, OK Mother: Ethel Kirk of Perry, OK 12 Grandchildren and several great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by her father, 1 son: Kenneth Nida and 1 daughter: Nancy Smith Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in c/o Perry Funeral Home.
