Kimberly Jo Ramsey

Kimberly Jo Ramsey, age 59, of Ponca City, passed away on January 4, 2026, at home with her husband by her side. A service honoring her will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the Carolyn Renfro Auditorium. Burial will immediately follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Kim was born on May 3, 1966, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Charles and Dorothy Fulks. She was known for her baking and cooking, her beautiful flowers, and the way she loved her family. She had a strength that made those around her feel cared for and welcomed. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She spent her life dedicated to her family and friends—always willing to help, listen, or simply brighten someone’s day. Her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for the music she loved, the peace she found in fishing, and her unapologetic, say-it-like-it-is spirit.

Kim is survived by her husband, Daryl Ramsey, of the home; her children, Heather Hurd and husband JR of Ponca City, OK, Holly Wallen of Ponca City, OK, and Lane Ramsey and his wife Megan of Ponca City, OK; nine grandchildren, Britton Hurd and wife MacKenzie of Ponca City, OK, McKenna Hurd of Bartlesville, OK, Taylor Hurd, Ryleigh Wallen, Kinslee Wallen, Hunter Ramsey, Octavia Ramsey, and Oaklee Ramsey of Ponca City, OK, and a grandson on the way; two great-grandchildren, Braylen and Blakely Hurd of Ponca City, OK; and her siblings, Tobi Bricker and husband Doug of Shawnee, OK, and Cody Fulks and wife Hillary of Norman, OK. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Dorothy; her grandparents, John and Ida Fulks; her grandparents, Raymond and Frances Smith; and her nephew, Tanner McPherson.

Pallbearers will be Lane Ramsey, Britt Hurd, Cory Bricker, Chad May, Charles McPherson, Larry Zimmerschied, and Randy Zimmerschied.

Family visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater, OK, from 5:00–7:00 PM. The funeral home will also have open viewing from 10:00 AM–8:00 PM on Wednesday. Family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate Kim’s life.
