Lila C Bay

Lila Coleen Bay, 88, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021 in Perry, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 9:00am to 8:00pm at Dighton Marler Funeral Home of Perry. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 10:00am at the First Christian Church with Reverend Josh Bell officiating. Interment will follow at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry. Dighton Marler Funeral Home of Perry is entrusted with arrangements.
Lila was born on January 26, 1932 in Perry, Oklahoma to James T. and Elva Mae (Musick) Thompson. She grew up in the Red Rock and Sumner area graduating from Sumner High School. She married Raymond Leroy Bay on May 11, 1949 in Perry, Oklahoma. Lila loved fishing and camping with her family and enjoyed shopping, gardening and playing cards. She was always ready for family get-to gathers and hosted many herself. Her most favorite thing was just being with Raymond.
Lila is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Bay and her parents, her siblings; Viginia Tucker, Dorsie Beier, Orin Thompson, Gene Thompson Melva Edgar, Darlene Lumbers and Glenda Buchanan.
She is survived by her daughter Delilah Rae Snyder and her husband Gary, her grandchildren; Casidy Lee and husband Mike, and Codi Hodge and husband Justin, as well as her great grandchildren Sheriden Davis, McKinley Lee, Lily Greenlee, Cash Welliver and Lila Johnson and one great-great grandchild, Vann Russell. She is also survived by one sister Donna King.
