Linda Lee (Fulton) Lukehart was called to her final resting place on December 12, 2023. Linda was born in Iowa City, Iowa to Richard and Rita Fulton on February 20th, 1948. Linda attended Holy Name School in Omaha, Nebraska where she graduated in 1966. She found her soul mate and took Daryl “Luke” Lukehart’s hand in marriage on August 17, 1968. Together they had two children Kelly and Tony.


She worked many jobs in her young life, the longest being at the Pendleton Factory in Council Bluffs, IA as a seamstress. Linda later in life attended and graduated from Nebraska College of Business where she received her degree in Tourism. She continued working at a travel agency until retiring to Goodyear, Arizona where her and Luke enjoyed traveling. Once her and Luke became great grandparents they moved to Perkins, Oklahoma to be closer to family. She loved football, especially the Iowa Hawkeyes, boating, hot air balloons, and riding around in her convertible IROC-Z.




Linda is survived by her husband Luke of 55 years, Brothers Richard and Tim Fulton of Omaha, NE, sister Patty Swanson of Ashland, NE, Daughter Kelly Smithson and husband Kyle of Omaha, NE, Son Anthony “Tony” Lukehart and wife Donnelle “Doni” of Cushing, OK, 5 grandchildren Elizabeth Lukehart and partner Casey Ledford of Stillwater, OK, Rachel Kinder and husband Jimmy of Carney, OK, Gillian Smithson of Omaha, NE, Hunter Smithson of Omaha, NE, and Beau Lukehart and girlfriend Christyn of Cushing, OK, 3 great-grandchildren Arabella, Lane, and Kinsley Kinder of Carney, OK.




Linda is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Rita Fulton.
