Marguerite Francis Zoellner

Marguerite “Marge” (Wildenberg) Zoellner passed peacefully on January 2, 2024 after a brief illness. Marge was born April 26, 1936 to Sylvester and Mary (nee Hickey) Wildenberg in Van Dyne, WI. Marge married Daniel Lee Zoellner on November 16, 1963 at Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac, WI.

She graduated from St. Mary’s Springs Academy in 1954 and worked at Kiekhafer (Mercury) Marine until her marriage. Over the years she worked several part-time jobs, but her main focus was taking care of her home and family. She volunteered as a Girl Scout Leader, 4-H Leader, and as an election poll worker. She also spent many hours volunteering at her children's schools.

In her spare time, Marge enjoyed cooking, baking, Nascar, ballgames, playing board and card games, but loved spoiling her grandchildren and spending time with her family most of all. Although she is no longer with us, her memory and legacy will be kept alive in the family and friends she leaves behind.

She is survived by her children Sandy (Mike) McCarthy of Highland Village, TX, Mike (Kathy) Zoellner of Shelby, IA, Jim (Johnna) Zoellner of Perkins, OK, and Kay Zoellner of Oklahoma City, OK. She is further survived by her sister, Catherine (Leo) Streblow of Fond du Lac, WI; two brothers-in-law, Jerry (Lois) Zoellner of Menasha, WI. and Don (Kathy) Zoellner of Fond du Lac, WI; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel; her parents; in-laws, Louis and Ada Zoellner; and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Delbert and Sheila Zoellner.

Marge's family request that memorial donations be made to St. Mary's Springs Academy, the American Heart Association, or St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in c/o Dighton-Marler Funeral Home, 5106 N. Washington St., Stillwater, OK., 74075.

Dighton-Marler Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care and arrangements for Mrs. Zoellner.
