Mary Ann Clodfelter, age 72, went to be home with our Lord and Savior on November 29, 2020. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Mary Ann was born on November 22, 1948 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She was the only child born to Pete and Mary “Lucille” (Moor) Etheridge. She grew up around the Perkins area, attending both the Ripley and Perkins schools. Graduating from Perkins-Tryon Public Schools in 1968. She received her beauty license from a local beauty college upon graduating from high school. Mary Ann married the man of her dreams and the love of her life on June 22, 1968 at Eden Chapel Church. David and Mary Ann lived in their first home in Stillwater until their oldest daughter, Nancy Ann was born, and later the family moved to Geronimo, Oklahoma and several other small towns from Oklahoma to Texas, adding Wendy Marie to the family in Hobart, Oklahoma.
Mary Ann spent the majority of her life being an amazing wife to her husband, David, and wonderful mother to her two daughters. She loved doing hair and was always taking care of her mother and aunt’s hairdos. In addition to being a homemaker, Mary Ann spent several years in the workforce as a daycare worker, substitute teacher, JCPenney’s associate, and a paraprofessional at Stillwater Middle School for several years. Mary Ann was active in her church caring for others with encouragement cards and working in the flower beds. She had a heart to give. She had a great love for her grandchildren and they had many adventures together. Mary Ann took joy in working in her flower beds, red birds, snowmen, and all things Pioneer Woman.
Mary Ann is survived by her mother, Lucille Etheridge, two daughters Nancy Miller, and Wendy Blanco and her husband, Ivan Blanco of Olathe, Kansas and their four children, Hannah, Cameron, Alex, and Aaron and many extended family members.
She is preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Clodfelter, her father, Pete Ray Etheridge and her aunt Delcia Etheridge, and most recently her son-in-law, Scott Randall Miller.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
