Nita Rae Roesler, 83, a loving mother and retired registered nurse, was born January 21, 1939, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, the daughter of Wayne C. Anderson and Zula Mae Felts Anderson. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior September 30, 2022, at Green Valley Nursing Home.

Nita was very talented and creative trying many crafts and art forms before discovering quilting. Nita inspired many with her caring and compassion for people, which she extended to animals as well. Her dogs and cats provided her much entertainment and comfort. Given the opportunity she would regale you with stories of their antics. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by five children: Jodi Mount (John), Villa Rica, Georgia; Judi Krause (Dave), Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania; Jeri Rhoden (Eddy), Owasso, Oklahoma; Joni Kessler, Universal City, Texas; and Jon Alexander, Perry, Oklahoma.
