Patricia Mae Frank

Patricia Mae “Pat” Frank, 85, of Glencoe, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at home on October 29, 2026.

Born on July 19, 1941, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, Pat was the daughter of Floyd and Mildred Wheatley. She graduated from Stillwater High School in 1959 and married the love of her life, J.D. Frank, on June 1, 1959, at St. Francis Catholic Church. Together, they shared 67 years of marriage, building a life filled with love, family, and cherished memories.

Throughout her life, Pat had a special way of making others feel welcome, valued, and cared for. During her 30-year career, she wore many hats and served her community in a variety of roles, including leadership positions with the CETA and JTPA employment and training programs, as well as positions with the Payne County Commissioners' Office, Yale Nursing Home, and Cushing Hospital. Wherever she worked, Pat was known for her dedication, compassion, and willingness to help others.

Above all, Pat treasured her family. She was a devoted mother to her sons, John and Larry, and a loving grandmother to John David, Jessica, Camber, Laramie, and Ava. She took great pride in her growing family and cherished the memories they made together. Her love and devotion will remain a lasting part of their lives.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Mildred Wheatley; her sister, Maxine Richards; and her brother, Bruce Wheatley.

She is survived by her husband, J.D. Frank, of the home; her sons, John Frank and Larry Frank (Amy); and her five grandchildren, John David Frank (Dawn), Jessica Rumford, Camber Frank (Jake), Laramie Frank (Mikayla), and Ava Lester (Tyson). She was also blessed with eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Other survivors include her brother, Bud Wheatley (Cyndi), along with many beloved relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home in Stillwater, Oklahoma, with interment following at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, November 6, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be John David Frank, Laramie Frank, Tyson Lester, Jake Lawler, Kyle Frank, and Lyle Frank.

Though Pat will be deeply missed, the love she shared, the kindness she showed, and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
