Robert Willis Darby, age 75, passed away March 17, 2021, at his home in Perkins, Oklahoma.
Visitation will be held from 9 AM. to 8 PM Monday, March 22, 2021 at the Dighton-Marter Funeral Home Chapel. Family will greet guests from 6 PM to 8 PM at the funeral home chapel.
Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at the Perkins Cemetery. Lynn Hazelbaker will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home, Stillwater.
Robert was born October 16, 1945, in Guthrie, Oklahoma, the son of Franklin Ernest Darby and Okemah Nesbitt Darby. He grew up in the Guthrie/Perkins areas, graduating from Perkins High School with the Class of 1963. He worked as a machinist in the oil field. His favorite interests included rodeos, cowboy poems and reading. He served in the United States Army.
He is survived by a sister, Marie Darby West and her family. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Martha Darby Rutter.
