Stillwater, Oklahoma

Saundra Lee Kukuk, age 81, passed away peacefully at her home in Stillwater, Oklahoma, on Friday, January 30, 2026. A beloved partner, mother, grandmother, and friend, Saundra's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Born on December 4, 1944, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, Saundra was raised in the Sumner area where she received her education and graduated from Sumner High School. At the young age of nine, she was baptized on May 16, 1954, at the First Baptist Church in Walsh, Colorado, marking the beginning of a lifelong commitment to her faith.

Saundra devoted most of her professional years to the oil industry, having been employed with Champlin Petroleum in Enid prior to relocating to Fort Worth in 1981, where she continued her career with Union Pacific Resources until her retirement in 1999. Beyond her professional life, she was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Weatherford, contributing her time and talents to the board of education, the Altar Guild, and various ladies' activities.

In 2000, Saundra and her husband, Clarence Fred Kukuk, made their home in south Texas, where they relished the warm winters. This chapter of their lives lasted until 2018, when they moved to Stillwater to be closer to their daughter and grandchildren, establishing roots in the community once more. Here, Saundra proudly became a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Stillwater, continuing to live out her faith through service.

Saundra is fondly remembered for her loving nature and her devotion to her family. She is survived by her cherished husband, Clarence Frederick Kukuk; her daughter, Tammy and her husband Darren Billingsley; grandsons Josh and his wife Brianna Billingsley, Jordan and his wife Myranda Billingsley, and Tygen Kukuk; her great-grandchildren, Darcy, Landry, Sawyer, and Stella Billingsley; Timothy Clark Kukuk and daughter-in-law Lia Harrison; and her aunt, Wanda Rink.

Preceding her in death were her beloved son, Timothy Kukuk, and her parents, Floyd and Pauline Bay.
