Steven Ray (Steve) Heath, 59, passed away on Father’s Day, June 15, 2025, at Integris Hospice Center in Oklahoma City, OK.
He was born June 10, 1966, the son of Denzil Ray Heath and Sharon Kay (Taylor) Heath, in Oklahoma City where he grew up and graduated from Grant High School in 1984. He moved to Perry with his family in 1986.
He formerly worked in the oilfield, for Lloyd Jones and Ditch Witch before going to work at E-Z Drill as a welder in 2003, eventually becoming supervisor over the department. He worked there until August 2024 when he had to retired due to illness.
He was the proud father of a daughter, Talia Nicole Heath, and one son, Zachary Harrison Heath.
Steven was an avid fisherman and especially loved to fish from a boat. He also loved working on restoring vehicles with his brother, Greg. He loved the outdoors and nature and loved to read.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Grace Hill Cemetery Pavillion (weather permitting). The family will meet at Dighton-Marler Funeral Home, Perry, at 1 p.m. prior to the service.
He is survived by his daughter, Talia; son, Zachary; four brothers: Greg Heath and Patrick (Joe) Heath of Perry, Phillip (Todd) Heath of Oklahoma City, and Kevin Heath of Broken Arrow.; three grandchildren: Tayler Jay Heath, Eleanor Elizabeth (Ellie) Robinson and Sophia Rose Robinson of Perkins; and several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
