Tania Lisseth Valdes Ibarra

Tania Lisseth Valdes Ibarra, born on July 22, 2010, in Maravatío, Michoacán, passed away on April 25, 2026, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She was a bright and studious young soul whose passion for learning and enthusiasm for life left an indelible mark on all who knew and loved her.

Tania was a dedicated student at Stillwater High School, where her curiosity and love for knowledge shone brightly. She had a special fondness for makeup tutorials and was remarkably tech-savvy for her age. She was known for her kind heart and her willingness to help others, always offering support to those around her. Tania was very intelligent, respectful, and carried a deep sense of pride for her parents and her brother. Beyond academics, Tania found joy in life’s simple pleasures—watching movies, enjoying the pink drink from Starbucks, and savoring her favorite meals, which included fettuccine Alfredo from Olive Garden and pizza. These everyday moments reflected her warm spirit and ability to find happiness in the little things.

She is lovingly remembered by her parents, Omar Valdes-Tellez and Yesenia Ibarra Valdez, who cherished her deeply, and by her brother, Omar Alexander Valdes-Ibarra. Tania’s extended family also holds her memory close to their hearts, including her aunts and uncles: Eloisa Valdes and Mario; Eduardo Valdes and Ileana; Roberto Valdes and Viviana; Fernando Valdes; Arturo Valdes and Vianey; Mariela Ibarra and Uvaldo; and Erik Ibarra. She is further survived by her maternal grandparents, Lina Valdez Juarez and Daniel Ibarra Campos, and her great-grandmother, Juana Juarez Nieto; as well as her paternal grandparents, Eloisa Tellez Juarez and Gregorio Valdes Reyes, and her great grandmother, Marcelina Reyes Garcia, all of whom mourn the loss of a deeply cherished granddaughter.

Visitation for Tania will be held on May 11, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Stillwater – Dighton Marler Funeral Home, located at 5106 N. Washington St., Stillwater, OK 74075. A Mass in her honor will take place on May 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, located at 711 N. Country Club Road, Stillwater, OK 74075. Following the Mass, interment will be held at Fairlawn Cemetery, located at 1123 E. 6th Avenue, Stillwater, OK 74074, beginning at 11:00 AM.

Tania’s life, though brief, was filled with warmth, kindness, and a beautiful love for learning and living. Her memory will continue to inspire all those fortunate enough to have known her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love
