Tracie Lianne Klingaman (Delaney), 51, of Perry, Oklahoma passed away June 14, 2021, at her home surrounded by those she loved.
Tracie was born August 4, 1969, in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Everett L. and Barbara K. (Radford) Delaney. She was raised and attended school in Ponca City, OK. She attended Pioneer Area Vo-Tech where she found a passion and phenomenal talent for nursing. Following her graduation from Ponca City Senior High School in 1987, Tracie enlisted in the Army Reserves and was honorably discharged in 1997. After working as an LPN for many years, she returned to school and obtained her RN, graduating with honors. She continued her nursing career for many years where she became the Assistant Director of Nursing at Stillwater Medical – Perry until she became unable to work due to the advancement of her rare cancer, Chromophobe Renal Cell Carcinoma.
Tracie met Johnny Davis in 1988 and together the had Brittaney Erin and Johnny Louis-Ray. Though they went their separate ways, Johnny and Tracie continued to have a friendship until her passing.
In 1998 Tracie was introduced to Scott Klingaman on a blind date where their love blossomed. Together they had Brendan Dale. Scott and Tracie were married October 6th, 2000. They shared 21 years of marriage together raising their three children, going on cruises, and camping. They loved each other through 3 overseas deployments.
Tracie adored her three precious grandchildren and having them all together brought her immense joy. She loved going on adventures with her husband and making memories together. She took pride in being a nurse and caring for her patients. Tracie had a smile that grabbed your heart, lit up the room, and made everyone love to be in her presence. She liked cracking jokes and had a contagious laugh.
Tracie leaves behind her husband, Scott Klingaman of the home. Her children, Brittaney Ward of Perry, OK, John Davis and significant other Markyshia Atkinson of Perry, OK, and Brendan Klingaman and significant other Hannah Bateson of Orlando, OK. Her beloved miniature schnauzer, Chloe Payne Klingaman. Her grandchildren, Faith Ward, Ryder Davis, and Rhett Ward. Her mother, Barbara Delaney of Stillwater, OK. Her mother-in-law, Sue Klingaman of Mulhall, OK. Her siblings, John and Marci (Delaney) Bowman of Stillwater, OK, Mark Delaney, Robert and Schloe Klingaman, and step-sister, Crystal Leonard, all of Ponca City, OK. Her nieces and nephews, Jessica, Rayden, Amanda, Katie, Aaron, Abby, Logan, JR, Alecia, Cody, and Caleb. Her 12 great nieces and nephews. Tracie will be missed by her enormous, extended family, and multitude of friends and co-workers.
Tracie is preceded in death by her father, Everett Delaney, her step-father, Jack Delaney, her father-in-law, Dean Klingaman, her grandparents, Elmer and Aline (Cook) Radford and James Aaron and Gladys (Kirchner) Delaney, her sister, Sharlott Klingaman-Beier, her nephew, Scotty Riddle, and her two angel-baby grandchildren.
